It is a battle of ‘Bahubali’ vs ‘Vikas’ in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghazipur, with MoS and BJP leader Manoj Sinha fighting BSP leader ‘Bahubali’ Mukhtar Ansari’s brother, Afzal Ansari in the Lok Sabha elections.

Under Sinha’s governance, the constituency has received Rs 14 crore worth of schemes, as well as a railway network. This makes the locals quite fond of him. But at the same time, the locals are not so happy with the work done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Despite the BJP winning with 32,000 votes in 2014 from this constituency, the equation has changed, and the playing field has been levelled after the BSP-SP alliance.

Ghazipur goes to polls on 19 May. The results will be declared on 23 May.
