A few days after a Comptroller and Auditor General report had mentioned that food served on Indian trains were of unsatisfactory standards, a dead lizard was found in a meal served on the Howrah-New Delhi Poorva Express on Tuesday.

SK Singh, the passenger who found the dead lizard in his vegetarian biryani, took to Twitter to complain to Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu. He alleged that the Railway officials delayed giving him proper medicines.
