Rock legend and Beatles singer-songwriter John lennon was born on 9 October 1940 in Liverpool, United Kingdom. During the 40 years of his life, Lennon wrote over 50 songs, winning over the hearts of many a fan with the gentle yet reassuring tone of his voice.

But even on his 77th birth anniversary, Lennon’s work continues to ring true in the context of today’s world.
