The auction for the 2019 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will be held on Tuesday, 18 December. 1003 cricketers had registered to be a part of this auction out of which, 346 players have been shortlisted.
The IPL consist of 8 teams – Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals (formerly known as Delhi Daredevils), Royal Challengers Bangalore, Rajasthan Royals, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kings XI Punjab.
Each team is allowed to have maximum 25 number of players. Out of them, they can own only 8 overseas players at most. Let’s have a look at the squad strength of these teams, who can they bid for and how much money they have in their kitty.
