Aarti Sharma, a resident of a rented house in Eco Colony, Rohata claimed that demonetisation had hit her husband's small garment business and their children had been expelled from school due to unpaid fees.
Sharma shows the A+ scores her children had been earning while studying in St. Queen Mary’s Public School, Agra. The anguished mother questioned the ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ policy and criticised the government for the poor status of women in society. The youngsters too came forward to make a personal appeal to Yogi Adityanath and the PM to rescue their academic future.
