I was listening to Narendra Modi yesterday, 60 percent of his speech was about the Congress party. The elections are not about Congress or BJP but about the people of Gujarat. In his entire speech, he did not talk about the future of Gujarat.

Rahul Gandhi criticises the Tata Nano plant in Gujarat. “Rs 33,000 crore was given to Tata for the Nano plant. UPA implemented MNREGA in the entire country with that amount,” says Congress VP Rahul Gandhi. “I have barely seen a Tata Nano on Gujarat roads.”

Rahul Gandhi highlights Congress party’s manifesto and says, “We will provide low-cost healthcare, waive farmer loans, built 25 lakh homes, provide Narmada water and free education for young girls.”

The Congress scion lambasts PM Narendra Modi over Jay Shah’s company, the Rafale Deal and delaying Parliament’s Winter Session.

Gujarat Model should provide benefits such as land and electricity to the people of Gujarat. Narendra Modi’s model involves giving 45,000 acres of land to one person, and Rs 33,000 crore to Tata Nano project.
Rahul Gandhi, Congress 

The Congress vice president, whose elevation to party president is imminent after he filed his nomination papers on Monday, 4 December, has spearheaded the Grand Old Party’s Gujarat campaign. In the last two months, he has taken the incumbent BJP to task, and interacted with traders, businessmen, tribals, Dalits, and Patidars.

The Gandhi-led Congress has also formed an alliance with local leaders like Hardik Patel and Alpesh Thakur.

Gujarat Assembly elections are scheduled to be held on 9 and 18 December.
