Advocate Sonal Joshi, 39, sounds tired of all the blame game and mudslinging that has ensued in the run up to the state elections.

Politicians are only interested in getting their rivals jailed or orchestrating income tax raids or creating a sex scandals. Nobody is thinking about Gujarat’s citizens. Elections have completely been sidelined.
Sonal Joshi

Referring to Patidar agitation leader Hardik Patel’s alleged sex CD, Joshi adds that the entire political saga will last till December and post elections, nobody will care about anything. “Politicians should be talking about Gujarat's improvement, but I don't think any party is thinking about the voters of Gujarat.”

‘It Won’t Be Easy For BJP This Time’: 36-Year-Old Fashion Blogger

Falguni Patel, 36, believed that the Congress is giving a “nightmare” to the BJP this upcoming assembly elections, and that it won’t be easy for the party to win in the state again.

I find the Congress’ current campaigning very interesting. Congress’s voice was not heard till now in Gujarat. All that BJP is harping on is Narendra Modi’s face. I believe it’s not easy for BJP this time. It’s not a cakewalk for sure.

Patel is also concerned about the restrictions on individual freedom in the country. “'People's freedom has been curbed for a long time now. I've been told what to eat or what not to eat. I'm afraid I'll be told what to wear or what not to wear in the future.”
