The village heads of Uttar Pradesh’s Mirzapur district have been accused of converting a government primary school in Tetriya village into a dance bar.
A video, which has gone viral, shows heads of nearby villages dancing to Bhojpuri songs, while showering the dancers with currency notes. Reports suggest the celebration was held in the school premises when it was closed for the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
Primary Education Officer Pravin Kumar Tiwari has said that the matter will be investigated.
