1. London Fire Live: 200 Fire Engines Deployed, At Least 50 Injured
A massive fire broke out in a 27-storey tower block in Lancaster West Estate in London early Wednesday morning. As of now at least 6 people have been confirmed dead, with the death toll expected to increase, according to the London Metropolitan Police.

3. Decoded: Cattle Market Rules, ‘Beef Ban’
On 27 May 2017, the Ministry of Environment and Forests issued a notification banning the purchase and sale of cattle for the purpose of slaughter at cattle markets. The Madurai bench of the Madras High Court has granted a four-week stay order on the implementation of these laws. Animal rights activists have opposed the stay and a review hearing has been scheduled for 15 June.

4. India Launches Free Legal Aid via Video Conferencing to Villagers
Villagers in India will soon be able to connect directly with city lawyers and receive free legal advice via video conferencing as part of a government initiative aimed at improving access to justice for the country's poorest and most marginalised.
The "Tele-Law" initiative launched on Sunday will be piloted in 500 village councils in the northern states of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, and then rolled out across the rest of the country in a phased manner, said the law ministry. Click here to read the full story.
5. Bangladesh’s Recent Record vs India Shows They Won’t Be Pushovers
The ICC Champions Trophy 2017 so far has had some unexpected outcomes. While former champions Australia and New Zealand have been knocked out of the tournament, lowly ranked Bangladesh and Pakistan have found places in the semis.
