Odisha Artist Creates FIFA Trophy On Pencil Tips

With the World Cup fever sweeping through the country, people are coming up with unique ways to extend support to their favourite teams.

L Eswar Rao, a miniature artist from Bhubaneswar in Odisha is extending his wishes to all the teams in the FIFA World Cup in his own unique way. Rao is well known for his miniature art created using a variety of different materials such as tamarind seeds, pencil lead, colour crayons, wood and stone.

Now, he is creating miniature world cup designs using crayons and the tips of pencils that are as small as 6 cm.

The FIFA World Cup fever is on and I am also a big fan of football. So, I thought why not send my wishes to all the teams? That’s why (I am creating) the world’s smallest world cup on top of a pencil which smaller than 6 cm.

Rao, who has been working on his craft for the last 25 years, takes four hours to create each of the designs.

Notably, Rao also has his own personal museum where he has been displaying all of his work since 25 years.
