Ever since Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the demonetisation move (on 8 November), people have been lining up in the serpentine queues outside ATMs and banks.

Whenever anyone complained of how harassed they were with the painful, inconvenienced and depressing activity of standing in queues, they were verbally attacked with allegations of being selfish and anti-national “while soldiers stood for hours and days in extreme weather and perilous conditions”. How fair is this analogy?
