The Centre’s decision to offer a discount of 0.75 percent on digital transactions at petrol pumps came into effect from Tuesday.
Reacting to the Centre’s big push towards digital economy, Ram, a driver, said that the move will enable greater transparency and accountability. Similarly, Pradmanabham, an NRI said that the cashless transactions would eliminate the risk of physical theft.
