Faced with a rout in elections to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party leader Gopal Rai on Wednesday alleged that the BJP was riding on an ‘EVM Wave’ and not on the widely-perceived ‘Modi-wave’.
Rai was referring to reports of faulty Electronic Voting Machines, that many in the opposition allege, enabled the BJP to win in successive elections. Earlier, BJP leader Harsh Vardhan had predicted that the AAP would blame ‘faulty EVMs’ for it’s imminent defeat.
