Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Gaikwad, who has been in the eye of the controversy for assaulting an Air India employee, can fly again. The national carrier lifted the restriction after he expressed regret.
In a letter to Civil Aviation Minister, the Shiv Sena MP had virtually given an undertaking that there would be no repeat of the unsavoury incident, and sought lifting of the ban.
An Air India spokesperson said the move follows a written order from the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
