These are two rather unusual parrots with some odd yet hilarious tricks in their feathers... in one case, literally.

Angel, the lorikeet, is a rather charming parrot that just loves to dance. He hears a beat and he’s off. He can be seen merrily dancing and tapping to the beats from a spoon.

I’ve had him since he was seven weeks old. He does tapping and dancing all the time and as soon as he hears a beat, he’s off. Angel’s personality is huge, he’s such a character. Seeing him happy and dancing makes me happy too.

On the other hand, Kesha is a Parakeet that perches itself on the television, scratching away for long periods of time. It’s no ordinary feat as this parrot uses the sharp tip of one of it’s own fallen feathers to tend to even the peskiest of itches. In a manner, quite like a human would with his hands, the parrot holds its feather using its feet, itching away in bliss. Kesha also switches its feet whenever it pleases, putting on quite the performance.

I’ve had Kesha for three-and-a-half years now, though he only came up with this funny trick of using his own feather as an itching tool about a year ago. He enjoys it so much that he’ll just sit there for really long time and itch - it’s very distracting when I’m trying to watch TV because it makes me laugh. When guests visit my at home, they are entertained for hours; they love Kesha and think he’s a great bird.
