Eight-year-old sports enthusiast Logane Miller lost both her legs to meningitis. Her limbs were amputated at the age of 11 months, but the odds didn’t defeat her spirit.

Logane dreams of becoming the next sports superstar and plays 10 different sports. The double amputee has not only learned to walk but cycles, swims and is a budding athlete and gymnast.

When Logane’s legs were removed, I feared she’d never walk. She never let disability let her down. She does cartwheels in the garden which brings a tear to my eye as we almost lost her to meningitis.

Logane’s last operation was in 2014 and her next operation is coming up in 2017 to further improve her movements. She has also won the person of the year award at school for her commitment and upbeat attitude. Her teachers and friends are all amazed to see her enthusiasm. And this adorable eight year old is surely an inspiration for all!
