On 26 November 2008, a group of ten LeT terrorists entered Mumbai with arms and opened fire in some of the most commercial parts of the bustling city.
The barrage of attacks lasted over four days, killing around 164 people and wounding 305. The Taj Hotel, Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) railway station and Cafe Leopold were some of the key locations that were under attack.
Ajmal Kasab, the only terrorist caught by the police, was executed later. However, the mastermind Hafiz Saeed who orchestrated the attack is still walking free. On the 9th anniversary of the Mumbai attacks, let’s rewind to the gruesome night that shook the country.
