Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s journey on Thursday from Delhi to Ludhiana became eventful in a rather negative way. Protesters, mostly women from opposition parties heckled him over a sex scandal in his party, and others insisted he should “go back.”

The heckling took place at both the railway stations – Delhi and Ludhiana – over allegations of misconduct against AAP leaders, as he started his four-day visit to Punjab to give a push to the party’s poll campaign in the state.

Activists led by Delhi BJP women’s wing president Kamaljeet Sehrawat and party spokesman Praveen Kapoor raised slogans and waved bangles towards Kejriwal, who arrived at platform number 1 at New Delhi railway station to board a train at around 7 am.

The national convener of AAP said that more attacks are likely to happen on the party members.

When you walk on the path of truth, such attacks are bound to happen. But these attacks won’t scare us.
