Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday addressed an election rally in Assam’s Rangapara area in Sonitpur district.
PM Modi said that his fight was not against the state’s Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi but poverty and corruption.
Questioning the 60-year rule of the Congress party, PM Modi stated that Assam was earlier known for its prosperity but now has been facing problems due to unemployment, lack of electricity and better transportation facilities. He stated that his first agenda was development, his second agenda was speedy development, and his third agenda was development in all directions.
