Kirpal Singh’s Kin Suspect Foul Play, Demand Fresh Postmortem

The relatives of Kirpal Singh – a 50-year-old Indian national who was found dead in a Pakistani jail after having languished in the prison for 25 years on spying charges – have claimed that Kirpal was murdered and have demanded another postmortem in India.

In May 2013, another Indian prisoner, Sarabjit Singh, was attacked in the Central Jail of Lahore. He died six days later, at the Jinnah Hospital.

Sarabjit’s sister, Dalbeer Kaur, also supported the claims made by Kirpal’s relative.
