Actor Kangana Ranaut celebrated the success of her film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi on Sunday night. The biographical period drama, which released on 25 January, crossed the Rs 100 crore milestone at the box office in its fourth week. The film was ridden with controversy both before and after its release. During its making there were allegedly some protests by certain groups, like the Karni Sena, against the film. In the days leading to its releases there was a much publicised fall out between Kagana Ranaut and the film’s director Krish. Kangana had taken over directing a part of the film and was even credited as the director of Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi along with Krish.
However, on Sunday night, a beaming Kangana was spotted with her family celebrating her film’s success. See the photos below:
