Farmers in Inakadate Village, Japan have created detailed artworks in rice paddy fields by planting different coloured rice crops. These crops are grown to depict different characters from all over the world.

The designs are first designed digitally and then recreated on the fields by skillfull farmers. The ‘rice farming tour’ began in 1993 and has attracts a huge number of tourists every year.
