A day after the Ministry of Home Affairs filed an FIR over the missing documents pertaining to Ishrat Jahan, politicians from across the spectrum hit out at the ruling NDA government.

Launching a scathing attack on the Modi government, senior JDU leader KC Tyagi accused the BJP of ‘hiding’ crucial information to hamper investigations.

Reiterating its long-held position, the Congress sought to focus on the ‘extra-judicial’ nature of the encounter.
