Here’s the former light station plagued by hurricanes, surrounded by sharks and only accessible by helicopter.

It may not boast a spa, fancy dining, or a swimming pool, but this one-of-a-kind bed and breakfast in the Atlantic Ocean’s hurricane alley has a bit of everything.

The Frying Pan Tower, 34 miles off the coast of Cape Fear, North Carolina, is a former US Coast Guard light station abandoned in the late 1970s and is only accessible by helicopter or boat.

Despite its remote location, the bed and breakfast has some of the comforts of home, including hot showers, electricity and even Wi-Fi.
