Monika Khangembam, a resident of Imphal in Manipur, on Saturday shared òn Facebook, the details of a rather unpleasant racist experience she underwent at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi.
Monika, in her post, alleged that the immigration officer at IGI airport repeatedly asked her questions about her nationality, and repeatedly asked whether she really was of Indian origin.
The officer looked at her passport and told her that she didn’t look Indian. He also went on to ask her the total number of states in India and the number of state Manipur shares its border with.
