Asserting that India does not have expansionist ambitions, Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday said it wants to improve relations with all its neighbouring countries, particularly Pakistan and China.
“Until that happens, there will be no peace in Asia and no road to development will open,” he said.
Singh, who was in Jammu and Kashmir, as part of his three-day visit to areas along the borders with Pakistan and China, said “India only wants to defend its borders and all issues including border disputes and terrorism can be resolved through talks.”
