Two-time Paralympic gold medalist and world record holder in javelin throw Devendra Jhajharia told The Quint that he knew he was going to win the gold at the Rio Paralympics after training very well for one-and-a-half years.

Jhajharia, who lost his left arm due to an electric shock at a very young age, spoke about how the incident affected his life and how he fought through it.

The 35-year-old also talked about the facilities provided to the para athletes in India.
