Speaking about his own experience in the television industry, Bahl said that when TV first came to India, people thought that the content will comprise of only English and Hindi. But within ten years, the television scene was flooded with regional languages.

Bahl believes that Indians are very entrepreneurial.

The minute there is a commercial opportunity, people will jump in, funding will jump in, solution will come.

The government should mainly focus on enabling the coding of national languages and creating a regulatory framework, says Bahl.
