German Writer Franz Kafka has a Kinetic Sculpture in Prague

David Cerny, a Czech sculptor has created a kinetic sculpture of writer Franz Kafka in Prague. The sculpture is called K on Sun.

It is 10 meter high and weighs 45 tons. The sculpture has 42 independently driven layers and each of them rotates at 6 rpm.

David says that he created this artwork to distract the people of Prague from frustrations of bureaucracy. The artist has made several other artwork that are equally bizarre in the past.
