An upbeat, but exhausted Indian hockey team returned home after a successful tour of Europe before the big Olympics Games in July.
Led by Sreejesh, the team bagged a historic silver medal at the Champions Trophy in London. It was the first time the team even qualified for the Finals. Immediately after, the team moved to Spain for the six-nations tournament where they could not get past the group stage.
The Quint caught up with the entire team at the airport before they all dispersed for a much needed one-week break.
