Emraan Hashmi plays the title role in Azhar, a film based on the life of the former controversial Indian cricket team captain Mohammad Azharuddin. The film which releases on Friday also stars Nargis Fakhri and Prachi Desai.

In this selfie interview, Emraan Hashmi clears the air and says that even though Mohammad Azharuddin has been closely associated with the making of the film, it is not an attempt to glorify him.

The biopic hits theatres nationwide on May 13th.
