Bollywood actress Disha Patani looked florally cool while walking for Ritu Kumar at Lakme Fashion Week 2017.
Patani wore a white corset bodice dress over shorts. The piece, part of Kumar’s ‘Sweet Surrender’ collection, had a translucent layer embroidered with floral details, paired with white shorts.
Speaking after the show, Patani said she felt "lucky" to be "walking for a legend."

Kumar's collection was inspired by the 18th century French marquise fashion, with a splash of 80s pastel hues and tropical prints.
"It's free and easy and it's also not cumbersome to wear," said Kumar. "But the fabrics in India are beautiful. Actually, we don't use them much this way. We use lot of embroideries, so the fact is that our fabrics are actually meant for the summers. The tie-dyes, the way colors bleed into each other, is not something we work that much with, this was also an attempt to see what we can do with the Rajasthan palette."
Label Ritu Kumar was launched in 2002. The five-day Lakme Fashion Week 2017 is taking place in Mumbai and will run until 20 August.
