With the 66th Republic Day just around the corner, let’s come together and share our thoughts about India. Come and join The Quint’s campaign – Letter to India and tell her how you feel. But first, let us tell you why we started this campaign.

Dear India,

A very Happy New Year to you. But is it? I mean we’ve had a bloody terrorising start to the year. Just when we thought 2015 was done and dusted with.

We discovered a whole new side to you, the Incredible India, last year. You were intolerant at times; at other times stood up and protested for what was right (under different banners with different names) – and yes, at times, failed to protect us.

But did anything change? You went on to do your business – just like Gajendra Chauhan went on to be crowned the FTII chairman, people continued to be killed over cow-and-pig politics and Salman Khan was cleared of killing a man.

Saala! Kuch bhi ho raha hai! Oopss, sorry, we are intolerant to cuss words. Tauba tauba!

India, is this who we truly are? Is this what ‘Made in India’ is all about? India, on the 67th Republic Day, the day our constitution was written, let’s all add a new chapter to it. Written and signed by us.

This is what The Quint is trying to do. Get Indians from across the country and the world to pen their emotions on a beautiful, traditional postcard. Why a postcard in the digital world, you wonder? You see, a postcard is the only form of letter writing, which is not password or envelope protected. It’s out in the open for the whole world to know what’s in your head. And that’s exactly what we aim to do this Republic Day – send a postcard from your heart to India.

Digitally Yours,

The Quint
