A primary school teacher in the Jiangxi province, China spent 14 months designing and building an electricity-powered sports car. This unusual video which was filmed last week, shows the teacher driving his hand-crafted car down a country road.

According to news reports, the car maker, Yuan Rungou started making vehicles since 2006, creating a series of two-wheeler, three-wheeler and four-wheeler products. This red ‘Ferrari’, which was his fifth creation, boasts a maximum speed of 50 km/h and cost him around $2,000.
