The body of BSF jawan Nitin Kumar, who who was killed during the attack on 46 Rashtriya Rifles army camp in Baramulla, was brought to his hometown Etawah in UP for his last rites. It was later consigned to flames with full military honours.

As his family mourned his death, villagers gathered in large numbers to pay their last respects to the braveheart.
UP minister Shivpal Yadav was also present to pay tribute to Kumar. “We are very proud of Nitin Kumar. We will give Rs 20 lakh as financial assistance to his family and will name a road and a park after him,” said Yadav.
