Five hundred hot air balloons ascended into the desert skies as the 44th Annual International Balloon Fiesta came to an end in New Mexico, USA.
The nine-day festival in Albuquerque featured balloonists from 20 countries and dozens of US states. Tens of thousands of spectators thronged to the venue to enjoy the majestic festivities.
