Seven-time Formula One champion Michael Schumacher turns 48 today. The German, who holds almost all the big records in his sport, is arguably the greatest F1 driver of all time.

As he moves on to the 49th year of his life, The Quint takes a look some of the records he still holds.

After Schumacher hung up his racing boots in 2012, he severely injured his head in a skiing accident in France in December 2013.
