Amarinder Singh to the Quint: Congress Has No Opponents in Punjab

On the first day of his ‘Kisan Yatra’ President of Punjab Congress Captain Amarinder Singh spoke exclusively to The Quint.

While discrediting the ruling SAD-BJP alliance and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) as opponents, he thrashed Navjot Singh Sidhu for his flip-flop attitude.

The former Army officer said what we call surgical strikes now, in his days with the Army, they used to call them ‘raids’. He also wants Priyanka Gandhi to come and campaign for the party in Punjab.

'Need Ram Mandir at Any Cost': BJP MP Raises Ayodhya Issue Again

Months before the Uttar Pradesh elections, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has once again raised the issue of construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

In addition to Tourism Minister Mahesh Sharma’s visit to Ayodhya for prospects of a museum and Union Minister Uma Bharti saying the disputed land belongs to Ram Mandir, BJP MP Vinay Katiyar demanded that the temple be built at priority.
