Alidev is a period drama set in 1947 Hindustan in which Alidev, an orphan painter is forced to choose a part of his name and kill the other. To choose whether he is Ali or Dev.

The short film reminds us of the price that we have paid for our freedom and raises the question whether religion is misused even today after 70 years of independence to achieve personal agendas.
