When Abhimanyu was asked about his relationship with director Vasan Bala, this is what he had to say.

I had spent around 4-6 weeks with Vasan sir while auditioning for the film. The time that I spent with him resulted in a special bond between the two of us and that’s when I realised that I had to work with him. Even if it was a small role, I wanted to work with him. And because of that everything else became secondary, even the script. I just wanted to work with him.

When asked about the training process for the film, this is what Radhika had to say.

We both had trained rigorously for 8-9 months. 4 hours a day.
