People of Tamil Nadu offered special prayers outside the Apollo Hospital in Chennai for the speedy recovery of Chief Minister Jayalalithaa. Hindus and Muslims gathered outside the hospital to pray for their beloved ‘Amma’.
AIADMK cadres also offered prayers in their own way for their party supremo. While some held fire pots on their head, a supporter named Irulandi slept on a ‘bed of thorns’.
Apollo has not issued a health bulletin on Jayalalithaa’s health for quite some time now but the party insists that the Tamil Nadu CM is recovering.
