The company also has a slew of enterprise packages, that will primarily cater to businesses and startups, providing them them with fast-speed internet connectivity.
Reliance has officially announced that Jio 4G and its supporting services will be available for free as Jio Welcome Offer from 1 September to 31 December 2016.
With plans starting from Rs 50/GB, Jio clearly has existing players like Airtel and Vodafone under the mat. The Reliance-owned telecom operator wants India to become an Internet Protocol (IP) country in the coming years.
