Former Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Kalikho Pul was found hanging at his residence on Tuesday morning. He reportedly suffered from depression. However, suicide hasn’t been confirmed as no suicide note was recovered from the spot.
His fellow Congress party members have expressed their shock over the alleged suicide, not knowing what could have led to the drastic step. BJP leaders have also expressed grief over the news.
Pul is reported to have suffered from suicidal tendencies, as he had attempted to take his life when he was younger.
