Padmaavat is not the first film to have have controversy spray-painted all over it. Even after quite a few modifications were made to the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film, and even though the Supreme Court overruled bans imposed on it by state governments, the this Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh-starrer may not see the light of day in certain regions.
