OnePlus will finally launch its OnePlus 5 smartphone in India on 22 June. The phone maker is hosting a media event in Mumbai, where OnePlus fans will also get a chance to see the latest OnePlus flagship in flesh.
The images and specs that have been leaked online have got everyone excited, and now we’re just a few weeks away from the official bow of OnePlus 5 in the country. OnePlus 5 is likely to be the first so-called flagship killer device under 40K to pack the Snapdragon 835 processor, with 64 and 128GB storage options on offer.
The India launch will happen after its event in China, which is taking place on 20 June. However, the company has focused on India, where Pete Lau, co-founder of OnePlus along with other global team members will be present. Amazon already has the exclusive rights to sell OnePlus 5 in the country, and the phone will be available on the launch date from 4:30 pm.

The headlining feature of the OnePlus 5 is expected to the dual rear camera which could be a possible competitor to the snappers on the Samsung Galaxy S8, if not the S7. In terms of the design, OnePlus has claimed that the OnePlus 5 will be their thinnest flagship device ever.
