Google I/O 2017: Google Assistant Now On iPhone & Android O Beta

Google’s annual developer event will take place from 17 May to 19 May in San Francisco.

Major Announcements at Google I/O 2017:

Phones with 1GB RAM or less to get Android GO. An OS that is light and doesn’t require much memory and has apps customised for less memory phones.

Android O Beta version is out now!

Updates to Android O being introduced at I/O. Fluid Experiences and Vitals.

Youtube now comes with 360-degree videos for television where you can control the video via your remote. Youtube also introduced Super Chat feature where you can purchase chat and monetize creative content.

New features like Suggested Sharing and Shared Libraries introduced to Google Photos.

Google Lens artificial intelligence for your camera launched. It ships with Android Assistant and Google Photos.

It can automatically remove obstructions in your photos. Or if you want to find a Wi-Fi password, just point towards the router and it will find it for you. If you want to find what kind of flower is in a picture you clicked, Google can do that for you with AI.

Android is running in 2 billion active devices
