Reliance Jio wants more and more users to avail the benefits of Jio Prime. And to make that happen, Jio may be looking to extend the deadline to subscribe to Jio Prime by one month.
After 1 April, Jio users will have to pay for services but Jio Prime comes with offers that give users as much as 2GB data per day without spending more than Rs 500.
According to a news report on TeleAnalysis, Jio could extend the membership deadline for Jio Prime owing to a lack of interest shown by consumers.
The report goes on to say that 50% of the users have already subscribed to Jio Prime, but Reliance Jio wants to get as many users on board as possible, retaining a major chunk of the 100 million consumers that they got courtesy their free internet offer.

Industry sources have declined from confirming these rumours, but looking at the efforts Jio is putting in to lure more users to Jio Prime, it would be hard to ignore them.
After rolling out Jio Prime, they decided to pack in a bonus data offer that gives 5GB and 10GB extra data to those who apply for the Rs 303 and Rs 499 Jio Prime offers before 31 March.
Then, Jio also said that by paying for Jio Prime via Jio Money, you get Rs 100 cashback, which basically means Jio Prime subscription comes free.
