US astronaut, Peggy Whitson who made a record by being the oldest woman in space, is breaking more records at the International Space Station.
The 56-year-old is now the oldest woman to perform a spacewalk, Mashable reported.
Whitman along with Shane Kimbrough performed a power maintenance spacewalk that lasted for over 6.5 hours. Watch the footage from the walk in the video below:
Earlier this week, Whitson told Associated Press that she's adapting to weightless life in space quicker than her last trip in 2008.
"I love being in space," she said. "I sleep like a baby. I mean, it is amazing the great sleep. Nothing hurts when you're lying in bed. You can sleep the whole night through. It's great."
Soon enough, Peggy will be celebrating her 57th birthday while in orbit.
