Reliance Jio isn’t the only one giving you free local and STD calls in India now. Airtel has jumped the free bandwagon, with its new set of prepaid plans that come bundled with 4G data as well.
These plans can be availed by both new and existing Airtel customers across the country. For Rs 145, users can get 300MB of 4G data, bundled with free voice calls for a 28-day validity period. You also have a Rs 345 plan that gives you 1GB of 4G internet, along with the free voice call bonus thrown in.
Vodafone, on the other hand, has revamped its 4G data plan, and it now gives you 2GB of data now for Rs 255.
On December 1, Mukesh Ambani announced that Reliance Jio will extend its welcome offer for all its users till 31 March.
Ambani said all existing and new users will now gain access to free data and voice usage till 31 March starting from 4 December, when the welcome offer ends.
