There’s a lot of excitement around the launch of Reliance Jio 4G and its attractive offer of three months’ free data. People have been thronging Reliance stores across the country, just so that they can get their own Jio 4G SIM card.
However, not everything has been hunky-dory for consumers, especially since Jio 4G has started supporting local mobile brands like Micromax, Lava and Karbonn among others.
It is safe to say that the response to Jio 4G has been mixed. While many are raving about the speeds on offer, some are ridiculing the service of the telecom operator.
There are people who do not want Reliance to officially launch Jio 4G in the country as they can continue using free internet.
While some of them think Jio is just hype.

So much for Reliance selling a low-priced phone then.
There are also users who are using their Jio-powered mobiles as WiFi hotspots resulting in extravagant speeds.
A few eager but unlucky buyers are yet to have a taste of the service.
Reliance has got more mileage out of Jio 4G than any other telecom operator has managed during a testing phase. The Ambani-owned service has faced many launch delays but one hopes that it will finally be officially available in the coming weeks.
